खेल डैस्क : भारतीय क्रिकेट कंट्रोल बोर्ड (BCCI) ने मंगलवार को एक समारोह के दौरान भारत के दिग्गज क्रिकेटरों को सम्मानित किया। इस दौरान सबसे ज्यादा चर्चा शुभमन गिल और दीप्ति शर्मा की रही जोकि भारत के लिए बेस्ट इंटरनेशनल क्रिकेटर ऑफ द ईयर चुने गए। इसी तरह रवि शास्त्री को लाइफटाइम अचीवमेंट अवॉर्ड दिया गया। बीसीसीआई ने 2019 के बाद पहली बार खिलाड़ियों को पुरस्कार दिए हैं। हैदराबाद में आयोजित समारोह के दौरान पूरी भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम वहां मौजूद रही।

शमी-बुमराह को भी मिला सम्मान
बीसीसीआई ने 4 साल के लिए अवॉर्ड दिए। भारत के सर्वश्रेष्ठ खिलाड़ी के लिए मोहम्मद शमी को 2019-20, रविचंद्रन अश्विन को 2020-21, जसप्रीत बुमराह को 2021-22 तो शुभमन गिल को साल 2023 के लिए यह सम्मान दिया गया। विमेंस कैटेगरी में दीप्ति शर्मा को 2023 की सर्वश्रेष्ठ खिलाड़ी चुनी गईं। 2020 से 2022 के लिए इस अवॉर्ड को एक कर दिया गया। स्मृति मंधाना 2020-22 के लिए सर्वश्रेष्ठ खिलाड़ी चुनी गईं। वहीं, 2019-20 के लिए दीप्ति शर्मा को पुरस्कार मिला।
इंजीनियर और शास्त्री को मिला लाइफटाइम अचीवमेंट अवॉर्ड
बीसीसीआई ने रवि शास्त्री और फारुख इंजीनियर को कर्नल सीएके नायडू लाइफटाइम अचीवमेंट अवॉर्ड दिया।
1983 में भारत की वर्ल्ड चैंपियन टीम के सदस्य रवि शास्त्री और फारुख इंजीनियर को कर्नल सीएके नायडू लाइफटाइम अचीवमेंट अवॉर्ड दिया गया। उन्होंने भारत के लिए 46 टेस्ट और 5 वनडे खेले। 1961 से 1975 के बीच उन्होंने टेस्ट में 2611 रन बनाए। इस दौरान दो शतक और 16 अर्धशतक लगाए।
